Do you remember when?
We are approaching the 50th anniversary of the building of Llys y Frân dam and we would like to celebrate it by remembering the time it was built in the late sixties through to the opening in 1972.
Pembrokeshire Water Board built the dam to supply water to the south of the county and it was officially opened by Princess Margaret on 9th May 1972.
Did you or a member of your family play a part in the construction? Do you have old photographs of the valley before the dam?
We are holding swap shops on Tuesday 26th and Saturday 30th April where you can bring in your pictures and stories in return for a coffee with us. Help us create a Golden Anniversary display, which will be situated in the visitor centre for week commencing Monday 9th May.
